The Government of Canada will welcome new permanent residents

The Government of Canada will welcome 310,000 new permanent residents in 2018, 330,000 in 2019 and 340,000 in 2020.

Yet again on Nov 1st 2017, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada released the massive plan of multi-year immigration levels for 2018-2021.

This plan is the first ever multi-year immigration plan of the country. It mainly focuses on skilled immigration programs through which skilled individuals can enter and settle in Canada. The main objective is without any second doubts, development of economy and meeting shortage of skilled individuals in work sector of the country.

According to the following tabling of 2017 annual report release to the Parliament, the Government of Canada will welcome 310,000 new permanent residents in 2018, 330,000 in 2019 and 340,000 in 2020. Overall, a sum of 1 million immigrants will be welcomed by the country.
